Realstically--this is our last tough match until early Feb. We pull off a win here and it looks like smooth sailing for a couple of months
Twente are beatable and haven't got an Eredivisie win in 6 weeks--
-Martens and his crew need a sound strategy because I honestly think twente is going to play back and look to counter until the fall behind--should be fun

They should have scored a couple of minutes before ours. Great play by Osuro--probably their only real chance--we could have had 5 with the pressure we applied

If its possible Pattati looks like he's getting worse--must be losing confidence
It will be interesting to see who starts Sunday
Agree--if we score early they will have to open up--then its 4-0 for us--if not its 1-0
Pattati makes too many mistakes--he is involved but thinks its all easy--so he messes up--lets give him more time--I believe he will get better--he is only 22--also needs to add some weight
Sadiq is done
Patati plays like he thinks he's in a junior league--he has good moves but doesn't think that they guys are good--he wastes too many chances
Koop can handle the Clasie spot against lower teams--like tomorrow
Kwakman has to find a spot--but I can't think of one right now--4th midfielder
Patati needs to show up
Dykstra will be fine
He has agreat knack for finding future talent and AZ has a top training system which worked hand in hand.
I cannot believe he is getting out football completely--any chance he keeps getting nightmares from the PSV game??

CP were better--but we had a few no shows who played--Patati--Dyksra--Chavez--cannot afford to be intimidated out there
We played a great game and their keeper almost stole the game for Sparta--it could have been 5-0 with all our excellet chances
Missing PK's is not good--the game would have been easer if we had that one.
Tough week coming up but we are playing excellent attacking and entertaining football
I think Zeefuik needs to play as well--lets hope he gets a chance sooner not later
We played a great game--Patati set up 2 goals and he is really coming along. Too bad Utrecht got a goal
Troy misses a PK but it doesn't matter--how often can you say missing a PK doesn't matter??
Parrot keeps this play and scoring up and he is gone at Xmas for $50 mil

Smit is already a star at 19
the only thing that will stop us is injuries--and lack of intensity against the weak teams
Lets put Sim in with smit and Mijnans--Jensen and Sadiq up front with Parrot and get Cahvez into the ame early
Agree 100%--he needs to play and we have Mijnans-Smit-clasie--so no room right now
but Smit and Mijnans are probably gone next year so he needs to play somewhere
I would start him over Koop today
Telstar are not terrible -- its a win. It should not have been this close but a win is a win
Jensen is a plus, he starts every game

we have 2 weeks to get ready for Ajax--there was progress and add Troy and I think we are getting there
We have IMO the best referee in the Eredivisie today. Telstar plays attacking football and their game against PSV was fun to watch so I expect some goals. If we lose this one I think Martens is gone before the next one

Why do all the AZ fans think Meerdink is something special--people went after my comments early when i said that Parrot is far superior but fpr some reason they want to believe Mexx is special.
He never wins a long ball from the keeper--he looks invisible in the box--his playmaking is zero--but he's great--according to 90% of the folks on this blog--or was a month ago

Totally uninspired from the opening whistle. That is the coaches job--we have more talent than NEC and they need to show it right from the start
Lets start Zeefuik in Cyprus--for the 15 minutes he played he did a lot more than Mexx did in 75

Was it my imagination or were there a lot more injury breaks today in almost every tackle that was deemed illegal

I believePatati figured things out well enough now that he will lead the offense. Daal has also added to our attack. With Mijnans and Smit all we need is a competent striker. Meerdink has to come up a notch. I agree with quick changes as Sadiq, Kwakman and Zeefuik can contribute
I agree here but its hard to have a battle plan when your striker is clueless.
Once Patati got his 1st goal he seemed to come to life in the 2nd half
This Sunday against NEC if Mexx is still bad we should try Zeefuik for the 2nd half
that was last year. We have IMO the best midfield in the league this year. Pentra and Goes are a year older and once we get the front 3 stabalized things will only get better. Hopefully Patati adapts
